Overview
Carter Park Pool opens on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. and will be open throughout the Memorial Day weekend. The pool will only be open on weekends only until June 15 at which time the pool will begin daily operation. The pool is located near the intersection of Maple Street and Ashcake Road. For pool related information, contact the pool office during normal operating hours.

Hours of Operation

• Saturday - Thursday
  11:00 am to 8:00 pm
• Friday
  11:00 am to 9:00 pm
• The Pool will close at 3:00 p.m. every Wednesday through the end of July for swim team meets.

The pool will close for the season on Monday, September 2, 2013.

Dive-In Movies
Dive-in movies are just that!  A movie is shown at the pool beginning about dusk and ending around 11:00 p.m.  The movie is shown on an infaltable screen and heard through a super sound system kindly offered by Dr. Jeff Reihl.  There is no additional fee required to see the movie, regular pool pass holders or daily fee purchasers are eligible to stay and see the movie or enter before the movie starts. As with all activities at the pool, dive-in movies are weather permitting. We currently have two div-in movies scheduled for this summer. See dive-in movie shedule below.

Swim Lessons
Swim lessons are taught by the Ms. Tonya Roosa. There will be three to four sessions throughout the 2012 summer.

Each session provides eight 30-minute lessons between 10:00 am and 12:00 noon. Times depend on swimming level and demand for lessons.

Lesson Schedule

• Session 1: Monday through Thursday, July 2 - July 12
• Session 2: Saturday and Sunday, July 7, 8 - 14,15 - 21, 22 - 28, 29
• Session 3: Monday through Thursday, Aug. 6 - Aug. 16
• Session 4: Monday through Thursday, Aug 20 - Aug 30

Lesson Groups

• Learn to Swim, ages 6 and up
• Parent / Tot, ages 6 months - 3 years
• Preschool, ages 4 and 5

Swim Lesson Prices
The price for swim lessons is as follows:

• Non-Pool Pass Holder - $60 per session
• Pool Pass Holder - $45 per session
