Responsibilities
The Office of Business and Economic Development serves the business community of Ashland with education programs, grants, incentives and promotion. This office strives to build relationships to foster positive experiences in the Town of Ashland and help achieve economic prosperity for the entire community.
 
The Economic Development Coordinator also serves as staff liaison to the:

• Ashland Economic Development Authority
• Ashland Main Street Association
• Greater Richmond Chamber of Commerce 
• Hanover Association of Business and Chamber of Commerce 
• Hanover County Economic Development 
• Market Ashland Partnership
• Richmond Retail Merchants Association
