Description
The Town of Ashland is governed by a mayor and Town Council who are elected by the citizens of the town. The Town Council selects amongst its members for mayor. All governing body members serve four year staggered terms. The Governing Body, being the elected representative of the people, adopts all ordinances and resolutions, and determines the general goals and policies
